Sheena Peteranna

Sheena Peteranna is an experienced piper and flautist from South Uist. Her repertoire and technique were shaped by her widely admired and praised tutors Iain MacDonald and James Duncan MacKenzie.
She is a recent graduate from BA Applied Music at the University of the Highlands and Islands, with a particular interest in Scottish traditional music. She has performed at many internationally renowned festivals including Cape Breton’s Celtic Colours, Cambridge Folk Festival, Sidmouth Folk festival and Celtic Connections. She has been a part of many recognised folk groups including Feis Rois, Far Flung Collective, and the Argyll Ceilidh Trail. In 2022, she embarked on a successful debut tour around Germany with her German-Scottish contemporary band An Carra
