Catrìona Chaimbeul

Catrìona Chaimbeul is a native of South Uist having been bought up in a Gaelic speaking home in Lochboisdale.  Following university in Edinburgh and teacher training at Jordanhill College she has taught in Bellahouston Academy, Hillpark Secondary and Bishopbriggs Academy in the Central Belt. This was followed by a spell teaching in another Tìr a’ Mhurain on the island of Tiree, then Lochaber High School. The circle was complete when she returned to Glasgow being appointed Depute then Acting Headteacher of Àrd-sgoil Ghàidhlig Ghlaschu.

Catrìona has taught Gaelic classes in places from Sabhal Mòr to Seattle and is delighted to be returning to Ceòlas.
