Piping for Dancing
Playing for dancers is a skill in its own right, where the musician has to keep a strong, even tempo while playing tunes which are appropriate for the dancer. Tunes and techniques will be taught for playing for a variety of dancing styles, and there will be a chance to put learning in to practise by playing for one of the step-dance classes through the week.
This class will primarily be taught in the key of A and students should have their own smallpipes/chanter in A. (step-dance and reels & quadrilles)
