Summer School Programme 2021

This year Ceòlas is delighted to be able to present a summer school and events programme which will be a blend of online Zoom classes; events presented online and two live events in the Uist community which will follow latest Covid-19 guidelines.

Classes will be available live online each day but numbers are limited so please sign up early. The new Ceòlas website will be able to handle your registration and bookings here. Once you have registered, links will be provided prior to commencement of the Summer School.

As in previous years there is plenty of opportunity to sign up to Gaelic classes each day at 4 different levels and the opportunity to join in the Gaelic For All sessions each afternoon and which are all FREE. The Gaelic-language levels of the classes are available here [PDF].

A range of afternoon and evening events are a highlight of the summer school, including guided walks, music sessions in the hotels, and village hall dances and cèilidhs. The house cèilidhs are reserved for students of the summer school only. Most other events are ticketed, with pricing supplementary to the summer school. The full programme will be posted in June 2021.
