Angus Nicolson from Sleat in Skye. Both his grandfathers were pipers, one from Skye and one from South Uist. His father and uncle were pipers and his mother a Gaelic singer. He started playing at 10 and his teachers were Iain MacFadyen and later Iain Macdonald.
He is no stranger to Ceòlas and his piping style is well appreciated by the Uist audiences. He plays in The Angus Nicolson Trio.
