Isabell MacInnes

About Isabell:

Isabell MacInnes works for NHS Western Isles as a Health Protection and Screening Nurse Specialist. In 2018 Isabell was awarded a Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship, this award allowed Isabell to travel to USA, Canada and France to meet with experts working on ticks and Lyme disease. In 2019 Isabell completed an MSc in Infection Prevention and Control and her dissertation study was looking at the Impact of Lyme disease on quality of life. Isabell has previously served on cròileagan and school committees and she was chairperson of Fèis Tìr a’ Mhurain for six years.

Isabell took up the position of chair of the Ceòlas in 2023. Isabell has been on Ceòlas’ board of directors for several years and has a huge passion for Gaelic language, music, song and heritage.
