We have, as usual a fine team of musicians for dancing who are no strangers to many who will be hearing them.
Angus Nicolson from Sleat in Skye has been making a name for himself on the Scottish, and indeed international piping scene now with a new CD ‘The Lasses that Baffle Us” to his name and we are glad to welcome him back on the Ceolas 2012 team.
Sarah Hoy, from Edinburgh, has been a regular visitor to Ceolas for some years now and Ceolas just wouldn’t look and sound as good without her! We welcome Sarah back again to play for the dancers at Ceolas 2012.
Ewen Henderson from Fort William,(Brother of Allan) is now a member of International touring band ‘The Battlefield Band” and home outfit ‘Manran”. We are glad to welcome Ewen back to complement the ‘Lochaber Contingent” at Ceolas this year! He will be playing fiddle and pipes at the dancing classes and he might even be persuaded to give us a song too!
Angus MacDonald from Kilphedar in South Uist is a regular at Ceolas and a longtime member of “Na Deasaich”. He is on accordion playing for the Reels & Quadrilles and various dances during the week.
