Allan MacDonald is no stranger to Ceolas as he has been involved in Ceolas from the very beginning. Allan was instrumental in helping Hamish Moore to realise his goal in having a summer school in the Gaidhealtachd with the Traditional Music, Dancing and Language to the fore.
Allan’s contribution to traditional Gaelic music is not to be underestimated. He has undertaken much research into the Gaelic song and Piobaireachd traditions of Scotland and continues to lecture and tutor in these subjects all over the world whilst still maintaining a busy musical performance schedule. We are delighted to have Allan back at Ceolas again.
