July 2 – 7th, 2017
Now in its 21st year, the Ceòlas summer school is a proven success. Students come from across the world to the school, held annually in July in Dalabrog, South Uist, to experience traditional music and dance in a community setting.
Expert tuition in piping, fiddle, song, dance and the Gaelic language are offered over a backdrop of community events, including cèilidhs, concerts and guided walks. Tutors from Cape Breton in Canada are an important part of the summer school, and represent the reunion of the global Gaelic Diaspora. Classes run from 9am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday and are followed a range of evening events.
Price: £250 (full-price); £175 (Western Isles-rate); £10 drop-in rate per class (Western Isles).
First 20 to book will be entered into a draw to win free-entry into all evening events.
