The summer school fee (£250) covers tuition through the week, including first choice, second choice, crossover and Gaelic for All classes. There is an islands’ rate (£175) for those with a residential address in the Western Isles.

For students aged 14-17 years, there is a youth rate of £75 (please see youth piping and youth fiddle). Young musicians aged 16-25 year may apply for a full scholarship, funded by the Highland Music Trust (limited spaces).

For members of the public who wish to take a class as a taster session, a £10 drop-in rate per class is available. This is an excellent opportunity to those who cannot attend the full school, but are still interested in attending when they can.
